Some benchmark figures in brief

1972
Establishment of today’s enterprise as ELMAT Vostell & Schlagheck Industrievertretungen GmbH.

1982
The assortment of goods is expanded considerably.
Rubber sheathed cables TITANEX are included in our range.

1991
The branch office Gröden is established after the reunification.

1993
The headquarters is moved to Overath- Untereschbach.
A new department is born: elmat Daten und Netzwerktechnik (Data systems and network technology).

1995
STL GmbH Holding was founded by the companies elmat, Grawe, Kempf, Kling and Süveg. Titanex can only be purchased in Germany from STL companies.

1996
Export Department is opened.
Today elmat operates in all European countries, and in a large number of near and middle eastern countries.

2001
" Fairline ", the STL self-activating data system, is launched at Exponet Cologne

2002
elmat turns 30.

2005
elmat is a full range provider of cables and lines. New products on offer : medium-voltage cables and high-voltage cables.
